Nottinghamshire County Council announces a Highways Trainee role on a fixed-term basis. Based at County Hall, West Bridgford, you will work 37 hours weekly on a 38-month contract and gain structured training toward the Level 3 Transport Planning Technician Apprenticeship.
You will learn from experienced highways professionals, collecting data, assisting design, and supporting delivery to improve local infrastructure.

In order to apply for this post you must be willing to undertake training against an appropriate Apprenticeship Standard that will be delivered by an approved training provider.
Apprenticeships are open to all ages and abilities and are designed to encourage people who may not have the necessary experience or qualifications to access employment.
