Job description

No previous experience as a HCA or in care is necessary, however you must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and a compassionate attitude towards working with patientsA commitment to completing all training including the Care Certificate if appropriate. Please see leaflet attached for further information. Posts may involve working long days/nights, weekends, bank holidays, Easter and Christmas and this would be explained and negotiated at interview or on successful appointment.

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. The qualification is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are 'new to care' and will form part of a robust induction programme.
