Job Type: Full time, 40 hours, Fixed term (until end of apprenticeship)

About the Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team and maintain our golf course to the highest standards. The role involves starting with basic Greenkeeping duties and gaining experience with machinery and equipment over time.

Eligibility Criteria
  • UK/EU Resident for 3 years
  • Not currently a student in funded learning
  • Hasn’t completed a similar qualification at the same level or above
  • GCSE in Maths and English
  • Meet the eligibility criteria of the apprenticeship provider for the relevant course
Training and Assessment

The apprenticeship includes work-based learning, self-study, virtual classrooms, and practice assignments. It concludes with an End Point Assessment to evaluate skills, knowledge, and behaviors against the apprenticeship standard. The apprentice will enroll with an apprenticeship provider.

Work Environment

You will work in all weather conditions, including early mornings.

Outcome

By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have developed skills to maintain golf course surfaces and work effectively as part of a team, ensuring the course's maintenance and appearance meet standards.
