Job summary

Sureserve is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Gas Engineer. This role offers hands-on experience in domestic heating engineering, learning installation, maintenance and repair of gas systems while working with qualified engineers.

You will follow safety regulations, develop technical knowledge, and participate in training to progress within our energy efficiency and compliance services across the East of England and Midlands.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in pursuing a career in domestic plumbing & heating.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic understanding of technical concepts and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Gas & Renewable Engineers in installation, maintenance and repair of gas systems.
• Learn to identify and diagnose issues with gas systems and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure safe working environments.
• Participate in training sessions to gain technical and practical knowledge.
• Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
