Job description

Are you proactive, motivated, professional, and friendly? We're looking for someone who is passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Gas Engineer in September 2025.

Working as a great team player, you'll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner, ensuring that all work complies with good building maintenance practices.

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so top-notch customer service skills are essential. We aim to go above and beyond to amaze our customers with the services we provide.

Your Day Will Include
  • Develop skills and competency relevant to gas servicing, assisting qualified Gas Engineers with repairs, maintenance, and servicing within our properties to support safety standards.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Health & Safety requirements, relevant legislation, and Codes of Practice.
  • Report electrical or health & safety hazards to electrically competent colleagues and support remedial actions to ensure compliance.
  • Be supported by your supervisor and a mentor.
  • Attend college and complete coursework on time and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to contribute to a dynamic team. You'll work on property sites across the south of England, helping to build affordable homes for those in need.
