Job summary

Siemens Energy Lincoln is seeking an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to join our production team. You will be involved in the assembly, maintenance and repair of mechanical products and will receive extensive training and support to develop your fitting skills to our high standards.

A typical day covers reading blueprints, assembling components, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting equipment issues. You will work hands-on with our products to ensure they meet the highest quality standards

Qualifications

• GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths, English and Science.
• Eager to learn, with excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Keen interest in mechanical engineering and practical hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.

In this role, you will be an integral part of the production process, ensuring that our products are manufactured to the highest standards. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and performance of our products in the field, impacting industries worldwide.

What You’ll Bring

• The successful candidate should have achieved, or be on track to achieve, a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or equivalent, including Maths, English, and Science.
• We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has excellent attention to detail, and can work effectively as part of a team.
• You should have a keen interest in mechanical engineering and be committed to developing your skills and knowledge in a practical, hands‑on environment.
