Job description

Established in 1979, Guardian Industrial Doors is a family-run business based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. From this base, we serve the whole country and are involved in the supply, manufacture, installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial and commercial door systems.

We are offering a possible full-time employment opportunity, dependent on availability and the successful completion of an apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship is divided into two modules: factory work and site work:

• Factory module - You will learn fabrication and the use of various tools and disciplines to produce a range of door systems.
• Site module - You will learn from a senior engineer about the site aspects of the role, including installation, repair, and servicing.

This apprenticeship follows the Engineering Fitter Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. One day per week will be spent at our Luckyn Lane Campus in Basildon.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with start times varying depending on booked work, typically from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm in the factory.
