Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Packaging site in Lockerbie. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as an Engineer Technician Apprentice in a manufacturing environment.

During this 4-year Apprenticeship, you will attend college part-time and gain hands-on experience by assisting the Engineering Team in areas such as:

1. Supporting planned preventative maintenance;
2. Carrying out reactive repairs and improvements on equipment;
3. Sourcing spare parts and service contracts;
4. Improving Asset Performance;
5. Maintaining equipment records;

All while complying with DS Smith policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Desired Qualifications

GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade C or above, or equivalent.
