We are recruiting for Engineers for an apprenticeship available at our EMC site based in Avonmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain on-the-job experience while also obtaining an engineering qualification and the chance of a permanent job once the apprenticeship is completed.

Dawsongroup EMC is the UK’s leading supplier of self-drive municipal, industrial, and specialist vehicles for contract hire.

The apprenticeship will be provided by City of Bristol College, with inductions held regularly throughout the year.

As the Workshop Engineer Apprentice, you will learn the necessary skills to service and repair our EMC rental equipment.

The Workshop Engineer Apprentice will learn how to:

• Fault find, diagnose, and repair as well as perform routine maintenance on our sweeper vehicles
• Ensure that all routine maintenance or repair work is documented with an accurate and timely written report, including details of parts used and time taken on a work record card
• Maintain all tools and equipment used in the course of any routine maintenance or repair work
