Job description

You will receive one-to-one support from a dedicated team, generous holiday entitlement and a competitive pension.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be working with individual colleagues and as part of a bigger team, all who repair and maintain our customer’s homes, and many other properties we own too.
You’ll be getting stuck in with all tasks relevant to electrical related activities, so you can effectively support the team with your new skills. The electrical team are super experienced and will have your back, they’ll show you everything you need to know before you’re expected to complete any tasks on your own.

College is part of the deal, so as well as attending regularly, you’ll also need to collect information about your achievements for your portfolio and complete all the required learning and assessment criteria within the deadlines given by your tutor.

Finally, you’ll also have some great opportunities to get involved in wider corporate initiatives aimed at developing Beyond Housing and our services for both customers and colleagues!

You will gain a Level 3 Installation Electrician Apprenticeship Standard, working with teams to gain the knowledge, skills and experience required to maintain electrical installations in our properties.

You will also be able to deliver an excellent customer experience, and you'll work will colleagues from the wider business to promote apprenticeship careers and skills to local schools and colleges.

If your application is shortlisted, you'll be invited to attend one of our interactive apprentice assessment days. These events are a vital step in the selection process, offering you the chance to showcase your skills and potential.

Redcar Event: Tuesday 15 July 2025

You’ll be able to choose between a morning or afternoon session, but attendance at one of these events is required for consideration.
