Job summary

Circet UK is offering an Apprentice Telecommunications Electrician position in the Wireless Division. This field-based full-time apprenticeship provides hands-on training and mentoring while you learn to install, test and maintain telecoms electrical systems across the UK.

You will gain practical experience, work alongside skilled electricians, and develop safety and compliance knowledge essential for telecoms infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training and mentoring provided.
• Genuine interest in telecommunications and electrical work.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English preferred; driving licence held or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Support senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and testing of telecoms electrical systems.
• Learn how to safely isolate electrical equipment and understand workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with cabling, containment installation, and connection of power systems to telecoms equipment.
• Gain knowledge of electrical standards, labelling, and documentation requirements.
• Participate in site setup and shutdown, ensuring compliance with safety and client standards.
• Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles organised and in good working order.
• Maintain accurate records and support the completion of site forms and certifications.
• Work closely with your mentor to develop your skills and complete on-the-job learning tasks.
