If you are enthusiastic about learning a new trade and becoming an Electrician, we at phs Compliance have the role for you!

The role of an Apprentice Electrician will involve:

1. Completing the required academic and practical training requirements of the apprenticeship as provided by the Company’s nominated training provider.
2. Completing all relevant coursework on time and to a high standard.
3. Gaining knowledge and understanding of all operational best practices through training and observing engineers.
4. Learning how to communicate with internal and external customers at a professional level.
5. Learning how to retrieve and record data from management systems.
6. Gaining hands-on operational experience and achieving a satisfactory level as an electrician, including preparing, fixing, and installing electrical systems, components, and control systems.
7. Learning to diagnose and correct electrical faults, as well as inspection and testing.
8. Accurately filling in timesheets and completing reports required by management.
9. Learning how to retrieve and record data accurately using a PDA (Personal Display Appliance).
10. Ensuring all relevant work practices comply with the statutory Health and Safety at Work Act.
