Job summary

The Little Village Nursery (Great Eccleston) is seeking a caring Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprentice to join our friendly team. You will work under supervision toward your Level 2 qualification, gaining hands-on experience in a nurturing, home-from-home setting.

You will learn through play, support children's daily routines, and help create engaging indoor and outdoor activities while following safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English and maths at grade A*-D or equivalent is desirable.
• Willingness to complete Functional Skills Level 1/2 before EPA Gateway.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s play, learning and development.
• Help prepare engaging indoor and outdoor learning areas.
• Support children with daily care routines.
• Observe children and complete trackers.
• Plan activities once settled in the role.
• Keep play and learning areas clean and safe.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies.
