Flying Start Nurseries (SW) Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Early Years Educator to join our busy nurseries in Illogan, Redruth, Camborne and Cornwall College settings. Start is August/September with Level 3 courses available for immediate start.

You will support the delivery of a play-based EYFS curriculum, work within a supportive team, and help ensure a safe, stimulating learning environment for young children.

Qualifications

• Basic education including GCSE English and Maths (or willingness to study)
• Basic IT skills

Flying Start are looking for Apprentice Early Years Educators!

We are currently recruiting for our Illogan, Redruth, Camborne and Cornwall College settings, for an August/ September start date.

We are looking to take on anApprentice who can work in our busy nursery setting with our little ones, joining a team who are super passionate about teacing and inspiring our children.

Level3 coursesavailable for an immediatestart.

You need to be:

• Reliable and enthusiastic with high levels of motivation
• Organised
• Display good communication skills, with other adults and most importantly with children!
• Ableto work well within a team
• Passionate to work with children in the Early Years
• Caring and kind

You need to have:

• A basic level of education to include, GCSE English andMaths at grade 4 (A-C) or above -If you do not have one of these, we may be able to offer functional skills training, so please do still apply
• Basic IT skills

Your core job will be:

• To support the delivery ofan appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress
• To understand and work to allnursery policies and procedures and statutory guidance, to help ensure thenursery meets Ofsted requirements at all times
• To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times for the children

We will support you by:

• Providing a laptop for you to complete your work on
• Giving you designated paid time each week (20% of your contracted hours) to support the completion of your training
• Ensuring you have an Assessor who you have a strong relationship with to enable you to progress
• Guiding and teaching you how to be an Early Years Educator!
• Moving you from an apprentice wage to living wage for your age when 25% complete on your qualification! This can be within 3-4 months!
