Job description

Join us to apply for the Apprentice Early Years Educator, Colchester 07bl role at Seymour House Day Nursery Schools.

Founded in 1988, we have over 30 years' experience in care, education, and preparing children for school. Our dedicated team of Educators and Teachers has achieved outstanding Ofsted judgements across our eleven nursery schools.

We support you to achieve your Level 3 Early Years qualification, granting you qualified Early Years Educator status. This qualification can serve as a stepping stone for career development in areas such as:

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership
• Honours Degree in Early Years
• Early Years Teacher (EYITT) or Primary Teacher (QTS)

You will work with children aged 0-5, supporting their play and development, organizing activities, and collaborating with colleagues and parents. You will be mentored by experienced early years educators and supported throughout your apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship includes:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (including Paediatric First Aid or Emergency Paediatric First Aid)
• Functional skills in English and maths if required
• On and off-the-job training, with location to be confirmed

Working hours are Monday to Friday on a rota basis, between 7.00 am and 6.00 pm.
