Job summary

Dentalcare Group is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. You will receive full training toward a recognised dental nursing qualification and GDC registration, gaining hands-on experience in clinical and patient-facing duties.

Supported by clinicians and the wider practice, you will assist during NHS and private treatments, maintain infection control standards, and work toward becoming a qualified Dental Nurse with opportunities for progression within Dentalcare.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in dentistry and patient care.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and complete the dental nursing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during NHS and private treatments.
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms in line with infection control standards.
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols.
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support reception duties and help with patient communication and bookings.
• Participate in training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship.
