Job summary

Bupa Dental Care in Trowbridge is offering an Apprenticeship Dental Nurse position. You will train for 18-24 months to achieve a Level 3 qualification, with English and Maths to GCSE standard required before end-point assessment.

You will gain hands-on experience, supporting clinicians with chair-side duties and patient care while you learn. The role runs Monday to Thursday, 32 hours per week, with salary at £12.71 per hour until you qualify, plus extensive benefits and career progression within

Responsibilities

• Support dental professionals with chair-side assistance to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Provide patient care from entry to exit of the practice as part of the dental nurse apprenticeship.
• Learn and develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours on the journey to GDC registration.
• Contribute to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

What is the role of Apprentice Dental Nurse at Bupa?

Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship will support and provide you with the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC registered qualified dental nurse. This includes;

• Enabling you to provide the best patient care from the moment someone walks into one of our practices until the point they leave.
• Supporting our Dental professionals, and providing them with the necessary chair-side assistance, enabling them to deliver the highest level of patient care.
• Working as an Apprentice Dental Nurse means you can "earn whilst you learn".

What qualifications you will achieve as an Apprentice Dental Nurse?

You will achieve a Level 3 qualification following an 18-24 month training programme. Before taking your end-point assessment, you must achieve level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) if you have not already achieved them and can provide evidence confirming this.
