Role: Dental Nurse

Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians. The duties include:

• Reception duties such as answering phones and greeting patients
• Handling patient queries
• Processing payments
• Booking appointments and follow-ups
• Sterilising and preparing equipment for dentists
• Recording and managing patient records
• Supporting patient wellbeing and experience
• Cleaning dental areas including chairs
• Managing stock of equipment and supplies

Additional duties to support dentists and the senior team in delivering effective patient care.

Qualifications and Training:

• This role requires a Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide through blended interactive e-learning accessible from anywhere in the UK.
• Upon completion, the apprentice will receive a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3, approved by the General Dental Council for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse.
• Functional Skills in English and Maths Level 2 are required unless already exempt.
