Damira Dental Studios is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join as an apprentice Dental Nurse. You will play a vital role in providing chair-side assistance to clinicians while gaining a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts varying throughout the week, allowing you to develop essential skills in a dynamic dental practice environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We have 33 dental practices across the UK within Berkshire, Bournemouth, Greater London, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Isle-Of-Wight, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Surrey and Oxfordshire.

Possible career progression includes roles such as team manager, team leader, or dental practice manager. With further training, you could become a dental therapist, assisting dentists with routine dentistry, or a dental hygienist, helping patients maintain oral health. You might also train as an orthodontic therapist to help improve the appearance and alignment of teeth.

We are looking for someone to provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians. The role also involves working in other areas of the practice such as reception, dealing with patient queries, answering phones, taking payments, and booking appointments.

This qualification is a level 3 advanced apprenticeship accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide through blended interactive e-learning accessible from anywhere in the UK. Upon completion, the apprentice will be awarded a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3. Functional Skills in English & Maths Level 2 are required unless already exempted.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts. Shifts vary from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, with occasional Saturday hours from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Shifts will differ each week.
