Job summary
Rodericks Dental Partners is offering an Apprentice Dental Nurse position at The Elms Dental Practice in Northampton. You will train to become a qualified dental nurse while gaining hands-on experience across a multi-surgery practice.
The role is 40 hours per week and part of a supportive, clinically led group focusing on patient care and career development. You’ll work alongside an established team, receive structured onboarding, and develop real-world skills in infection control and chairside
Qualifications

- Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including procedures with blood or surgery.
Responsibilities
- Support dentists during clinical procedures.
- Prepare, sterilise, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Help keep treatment areas clean and organised to meet hygiene standards.
- Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during and after treatment.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Complete coursework and assessments for dental nursing qualification.
- Participate in training sessions and development activities.

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are desirable but not essential – enthusiasm and dedication matter most !
