Job Title: Apprentice Dental Nurse - Gillingham, Dorset

Working Hours and Schedule

Monday to Friday plus 2 Saturdays a month

40 hours a week

Role Overview

Our Dental Nurse Apprenticeship will support and provide you with the necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours on your journey to becoming a GDC-registered qualified dental nurse. This includes:

• Providing the best patient care from entry to exit.
• Supporting dental professionals with chair-side assistance to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Earn while you learn through this apprenticeship.

Qualifications and Learning Outcomes

You will achieve a Level 3 qualification after an 18-24 month training program. Before your end-point assessment, you must achieve Level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs grades A* to C), if not already achieved, with evidence to confirm this.

During the apprenticeship, you will learn about:

• Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems.
• Transmission and prevention of infectious diseases.
• Dental materials, equipment, and resources.
• Medical emergencies management.
• Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Clinical skills and health promotion.
• Patient care and management.
