Job summary

Join High Street Dental Practice in East Grinstead as a Dental Nurse Apprentice. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:45am–5:30pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break, offering hands-on learning while working towards a Dental Nursing qualification.

You'll be supported by experienced clinicians and a welcoming team in a well-established, predominantly private practice located on East Grinstead's historic high street.

Qualifications

• No prior dental experience required; enthusiasm to start a career in Dental Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians during dental treatments.
• Prepare and maintain surgeries to a high clinical standard.
• Welcome and support patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Learn infection prevention and control standards; decontamination procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe and well-organised clinical areas.
• Support the wider practice team with smooth operation.

ApprenticeDental Nurse – High Street Dental Practice, East Grinstead

Full-Time | Monday–Friday|Hours: 7:45am–5:30pm| Hourly Rate NMW

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Dental Nursing, gaining valuable hands-on experience within a well-established practice while working towards your Dental Nursing qualification.

The Role

As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you’ll learn all aspects of Dental Nursing while gaining practical experience working alongside our experienced clinicians and wider practice team.

You’ll receive support throughout your apprenticeship, developing your clinical knowledge, practical skills and understanding of patient care.

Your responsibilities will develop as you progress through your apprenticeship and will include:

• Supporting clinicians during dental treatments.
• Preparing and maintaining surgeries to a high clinical standard.
• Welcoming and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Learning and maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards.
• Learning decontamination and instrument processing procedures.
• Maintaining clean, safe and well-organised clinical areas.
• Supporting the wider practice team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Developing your knowledge of dental procedures, equipment and materials.
• Working towards the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a qualified Dental Nurse.
