Join High Street Dental Practice in East Grinstead as a Dental Nurse Apprentice. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:45am–5:30pm with a one-hour lunch break. You will learn all aspects of dental nursing while gaining hands-on experience and working toward your Dental Nursing qualification.

You do not need prior dental experience; we welcome enthusiastic individuals who want to start a career in dental nursing and grow within a supportive team at a well-established practice.

• Support the wider team with smooth practice operations.

Apprentice Dental Nurse - High Street Dental Practice, East Grinstead

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Hours: 7:45am-5:30pm | Hourly Rate NMW

This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in Dental Nursing, gaining valuable hands-on experience within a well-established practice while working towards your Dental Nursing qualification.

The Role

As a Dental Nurse Apprentice, you’ll learn all aspects of Dental Nursing while gaining practical experience working alongside our experienced clinicians and wider practice team.

You’ll receive support throughout your apprenticeship, developing your clinical knowledge, practical skills and understanding of patient care.

Your responsibilities will develop as you progress through your apprenticeship and will include:

• Supporting clinicians during dental treatments.
• Preparing and maintaining surgeries to a high clinical standard.
• Welcoming and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
• Learning and maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards.
• Learning decontamination and instrument processing procedures.
• Maintaining clean, safe and well-organised clinical areas.
• Supporting the wider practice team with the smooth running of the practice.
• Developing your knowledge of dental procedures, equipment and materials.
• Working towards the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a qualified Dental Nurse.
