Job summary

A local government authority is seeking an Apprentice (Corporate Fraud Investigator) to assist in fraud investigations and support the Corporate Fraud & Internal Audit Teams. You will study towards the Counter Fraud Level 4 standard while gaining practical experience. Good communication and ICT skills along with a team-first attitude are essential. This apprenticeship also offers flexible working arrangements allowing you to earn while you learn.

Apprentice (Corporate Fraud Investigator)

As a Corporate Fraud Investigator apprentice you will assist in providing effective and efficient support to the Corporate Fraud & Internal Audit Teams to help the service operate effectively and efficiently.

You will contribute towards the provision of high-quality corporate fraud investigations in accordance with the council’s counter-fraud strategy, gaining an understanding of fraud legislation and criminal law in order to provide advice in line with the legislation.

What qualification will I gain?

You will study towards the Counter Fraud Level 4 standard with Intelligencia.

What will I need?

You must either have or expect to achieve 4 GCSE’s grade 9-4/A*-C including English and Maths or an equivalent qualification, together with good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
