Apprentice Communications Support Assistant | 8697 | Fixed term contract to 01.09.2027 | 37hours per week | £24,790 to £25,183 per annum | (Grade D) | Wymondham

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service is looking for someone to provide support with social media, creative campaigns, media enquiries and internal engagement to assist in promoting the service, and Norfolk Trading Standards, as part of a small and supportive team. Enthusiasm, creativity, good customer service, teamwork and appropriate IT skills will be essential for the successful candidate.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS). We serve the county by protecting and saving lives, property and the environment, preventing fires and emergencies, responding effectively, and helping communities stay safe.
Norfolk Trading Standards helps to ensure a safe, fair, and legal marketplace for consumers and businesses in Norfolk.
The NFRS Communications team serves to enhance and protect the reputation of the service among Norfolk’s communities and beyond through effective communication in the press, on social media, and to the service’s 800 staff members.
This post is aligned to the Apprenticeship Standard of Multi-Channel Marketer – Level 3. It is expected that you would not normally take longer than 24 months to complete the training and the level of responsibility and complexity of work in this role will increase as your knowledge and skills increases.
You must show commitment to studying and attend all training throughout the apprenticeship, and time will be provided for this during working hours.
