• Job Title - Apprentice Chef - Yeovil

• Salary/Hourly Rate - £12.25 Per Hour

• Location: Yeovil, England, BA22 8HT

• Reporting to - Executive Chef

• Hours/working pattern - 37.5 Hours Per Week

• Contractual Requirements: Candidates must have a DBS check

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an ambitious Apprentice Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for ESS on a full-time basis contracted to 37.5 hours per week.

As an apprentice chef you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding culinary experience for our customers. You do not need to have any experience to apply for this vacancy as full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship!

On completion of the Apprenticeship you will achieve the Commis Chef L2 and become a qualified Commis Chef

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers-chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, cutting fish and meats
  • Creating hot and cold dishes for Service
  • Organising work station
  • Assisting Senior Chefs
  • Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standard
  • Completing daily food safety paperwork
  • Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations
