Job description

Job Title: Apprentice Chef

Location: Elmsall Way, South Elmsall, Pontefract, WF9 2GR

Reporting to: Assistant Chef Manager

Hours/working pattern: 40 Hours per week - 5 days out of 7

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Apprentice Chef to join Eurest on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

As an Apprentice Chef, you will work within a passionate team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided through the Apprenticeship program. Upon completion, you will achieve the Level 2 Commis Chef qualification and become a qualified Chef.

Candidates must be aged 18 or over due to contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing high-quality, delicious food to delight clients and customers.
  2. Implementing and overseeing menu changes.
  3. Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
  4. Acting on customer feedback to enhance food quality.
  5. Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts.
  6. Representing Eurest and maintaining a positive brand image.
  7. Monitoring inventory levels.
  8. Maintaining hygiene standards through cleaning responsibilities.
  9. Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations.
