Job description

Job Title: Apprentice Chef

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Location: Cobalt Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, NE27 0QW

Reporting to: Chef Manager

Hours/working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Apprentice Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Eurest on a full-time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.

As an Apprentice Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Full training will be provided, and on successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve the Level 2 Commis Chef qualification and become a qualified Chef.

Due to contractual requirements, candidates must be aged 18+.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare, cook, present, and serve food meeting specifications and customer expectations.
  2. Maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen to ensure safety for all team members and visitors.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members to deliver high-quality meals on time.
  4. Stay updated with new products, menus, and promotions.
