Job summary

Farmhouse Inns in the United Kingdom is recruiting an Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team. You will learn to prepare, cook and present dishes that meet our specs while maintaining top hygiene and safety standards in a fast-paced service.

You’ll be mentored on the job, receive English and Maths Functional Skills training, and participate in four Chef Academy masterclasses designed to develop advanced cooking techniques.

Qualifications

• You won’t need to attend college; apprenticeship delivered through work-based training with mentor support.
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths, with support tailored to your needs.
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
• Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your team and visitors.
• Communicate clearly with your team to deliver high-quality meals on time.
• Keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions.
