Job summary

A local farm shop and cafe in Bury is looking for an Apprentice Chef. Falshaws Farm Shop and Cafe in Bury are recruiting for an Apprentice Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Level 2 Catering and Hospitality qualification, which will take approximately 16 months to complete.

Duties:

1. Food Preparation
2. Preparing and Baking Homemade Pies
3. Cooking a variety of foods, including Breakfasts, Lunches, and Afternoon Teas
4. Vegetable Preparation
5. Baking a variety of cakes
6. Understanding Food Safety
7. The art of good customer service
8. Use of all Kitchen Equipment

Requirements:

Grades:

There are no formal academic requirements.

Hours:

Tuesday - Sunday, 9 am - 4 pm. Breaks in the morning and afternoon, Lunch out of Peak Times. Will work one day at the weekend, either Saturday or Sunday. 40 hours per week.
