We are looking for ambitious Apprentice Chefs with a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality food in a fast-paced kitchen. The program will last 15 months, and as our Apprentice Chef, you will receive a training programme designed to broaden your horizons and sustainably develop your culinary skills.
The 15-month Apprentice Chef Programme will be based in our hotels and includes:

As an Apprentice Chef at PPHE Hotel Group, you will:
- Possess full-time Right to Work status in the UK and have been a resident for at least 3 years.
- Have a strong interest in food - preparing and cooking ingredients.
- Attend college 1 day per week to complete your Level 2 Commis Chef programme.
- Complete tasks relevant to but not limited to the kitchen function in an efficient manner, preparing and cooking food orders in accordance with the hotel menu, delivering on time, and liaising with relevant teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Proactively assist in preparing, serving, and storing all products to ensure the best quality, in a cost-effective and efficient manner, considering food costs within specified budgets, and minimizing wastage.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability when personalizing external and internal guests’ needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere and personalized service for each individual external and internal guest, having an eye for detail and responding appropriately to guest and leadership feedback.
- Have previous paid or work experience in a professional kitchen (desirable) or demonstrate a clear passion for the culinary arts.
