Job summary

NTC Building Ltd. in Cheshire area offers an Apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery (Level 2) to kick start a career in construction. You will learn first and second fix joinery while working on real projects, under supervision, and with on-site training.

The programme covers roofs, windows/doors, flooring, walls, architraves and more, with progression to potential full-time roles after completion. Working week is Monday to Friday 8.30am–5pm.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C+ or higher preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good organisational and numerical skills are required.
• Ability to work well in a team and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop skills in first and second fix joinery on live projects.
• Assist with building roofs, installing windows/doors, flooring, and walls.
• Follow technical plans to complete high-quality work.
• Work with colleagues and customers to deliver excellent results.
