Job summary

Holy Cross CE Primary in Royton is offering an Apprentice Caretaker role for practically minded individuals who want a hands-on start in facilities management. You will work alongside our site team and learn all aspects of school caretaking, health and safety, and building maintenance while studying for a recognised Level 2 qualification.

The position provides full mentorship, the chance to gain accredited qualifications, and potential for permanency on successful apprenticeship completion.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Apprenticeship role; learn all aspects of school caretaking, health and safety, and building maintenance while completing a recognised Level 2 qualification, or similar.

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs around the school site.

Apprentice Caretaker

Are you practically minded, reliable, and looking to start a rewarding career in facilities management? We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands‑on Apprentice Caretaker to join our busy site team. Working alongside our experienced Site Team, you will learn all aspects of school caretaking, health and safety, and building maintenance while completing a recognised Level 2 qualification, or similar.
