Job summary

Arriva is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Technician based at our Milton Keynes depot. You will be trained to assess vehicle damage, decide if it is repairable, and remove and repair damaged panels to keep our buses running at their best.

The 4-year programme leads to a Vehicle Damage Panel Technician Level 3 qualification with bus-specific modules. Training blocks occur every 7 weeks at our partner’s workshop in Glasgow, with hands-on experience across body repair, safety, and data

Qualifications

• Programme to Vehicle Damage Panel Technician Level 3 qualification
• Course runs 140 weeks with 5-day blocks every 7 weeks in Glasgow
• Gains skills in chassis/body alignment, panels, tools and safety

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and decide if repairable
• Remove and repair damaged panels to keep buses running
• Work with mentors during apprenticeship and follow safety standards
