Job summary

Hungry Horse in Havant is offering an Bar and Waiting Apprentice role where you will greet guests, take orders, and deliver drinks with care. You’ll learn on the job through time‑based coaching, with a mentor in the workplace.

You’ll gain skills in customer service, bar operations, and product recommendations while enjoying career development across Lifetime Training’s apprenticeship pathway, plus exclusive staff discounts and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each time they visit.

• Prepare and present drinks that meet specifications and customer expectations.
• Assist in greeting, serving food and looking after our customers whilst they dine.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with quickly and safely.

As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice with Hungry Horse, you'll be the face of our company, making sure that every guest leaves with a smile on their face and a full belly. As a Bar and Waiting Apprentice, you will...

What your apprenticeship includes:

-You won't need to attend college; our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you.

-Obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents)

-Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
