Job summary

Auto Windscreens, part of the Markerstudy Group, offers an apprenticeship to become a Level 3 Automotive Glazing Technician. You will gain hands-on experience repairing and replacing vehicle glass, and learn to calibrate sensors on a local fitting centre.

The programme includes structured training and a salary of £14,560 per year with a rise after 12 months, working hours 35 per week, start date 28 September 2026, duration 18 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language or Literature – Grade 4 or above
• GCSE Maths – Grade 4 or above

Responsibilities

• Repair chips in vehicle glass
• Replace windscreens and body glass on vehicles
• Recalibrate sensors for features such as automatic wipers, braking and lane detection
• Manual handling of vehicle glass
• Field-based role and outdoor working after qualification
