Job Overview

We are looking to recruit a full-time Apprentice to support the Children Team located in our Boston office. The position is full-time, working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm with a 1-hour unpaid break. You will be studying for an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration.

Activities
  • Provide administrative and typing support to the Children Department
  • Take telephone messages and make appointments
  • Open and close files
  • Archive original documents
  • Support fee earners in the department
  • Support the main office, including reception and post dispatch, during lunch, holidays, and sickness
  • Photocopy and scan documents
  • Undertake regular training as identified in the appraisal process
  • Assist in preparing bundles
  • Prepare interim bills
  • Assist in legal aid applications
  • Assist in diary management
  • Perform any other duties as required by the business
Skills and Attributes

Good communication skills are essential as you will interact with staff and the public. Good organizational skills are beneficial.
