Apprentice - Accounts Assistant, Hemswell, Lincolnshire
(Full time 37.5 hours / week Monday to Friday)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting while gaining a recognised qualification. You will work alongside experienced professionals, supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Support the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team
  • Learn to use accounting software
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers or customers
  • Undertake training and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship program
What we're looking for:
  • A genuine interest in finance and accounting
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
