Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is recruiting an Apprentice to join a village school team. The role supports early years learners, assisting qualified staff to help children develop confidence and essential skills in a nurturing environment.

This Level 2 Apprenticeship requires candidates to meet eligibility rules, including age and residency, and offers a route to formal qualification while contributing to a caring community of learners and families.

Qualifications

• Aged 16 or over.
• UK resident for the last 3 years.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Spend at least 50% of working hours in England during the apprenticeship.
• Not in receipt of any student loan.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning within a caring school environment.
• Assist teachers to help children develop confidence and good habits.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, respectful classroom setting.

As this role is linked to the Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship programme, appointment will be subject to the successful candidate meeting the eligibility requirements of the programme and being accepted onto the programme by Activate Apprenticeships. This includes:
