Job summary

Precision People is working with an engineering company in Loughborough to recruit an experienced Appointed Person (CPCS A61) for a 3-month contract with an immediate start. The role centers on planning and managing lifting operations to ensure compliance with LOLER and safety guidelines.

You will produce lift plans, RAMS and accompanying documentation, select appropriate cranes and lifting accessories, and brief the lifting team.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS A61 Appointed Person qualification.
• Experience planning lifting operations.
• Strong understanding of crane operations and lifting equipment.
• Knowledge of LOLER and lifting safety requirements.
• Ability to produce accurate lift plans and RAMS.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant construction/site experience.

Location: Loughborough, LE11

Pay: £25.00 per hour, depending on experience

Contract: 3 months

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm | Friday 7:30am-12:30pm

Start: Immediate

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Appointed Person (CPCS A61) to join a busy Engineering Company based in Loughborough.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and management of lifting operations, ensuring all lifts are properly assessed, planned and carried out safely and in accordance with relevant legislation and guidance.
