We are seeking a qualified Applied Psychologist with a doctoral qualification in clinical, counselling, or health psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). You must have experience working in adult NHS mental health teams, especially in acute mental health crisis settings. Strong skills in psychological assessment and evidence-based interventions are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide consultation, training, and supervision.

A recovery-focused, person-centered approach is key, using psychological knowledge to achieve the best outcomes for patients. As an Applied Psychologist in the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team, you will conduct specialist psychological assessments and deliver tailored interventions to individuals in acute mental health crises, including those with personality disorders, complex PTSD, psychosis, and dual diagnoses. Utilizing a range of therapies such as CBT, DBT, CAT, ACT, CFT, and EMDR, you will directly impact patients' mental health and recovery.
