Estimated AMS Appointments Available: 3-5 with 24 hour-long lessons per AMS appointment

Sessional Dates: September 2025 to April 2026

Salary: $110.45/hr.

Qualifications: Graduate degree in Jazz performance or equivalent professional experience. Ongoing performing activities including recording and touring, encompassing a wide range of demonstrated excellence. Extensive education experience in Jazz and related musics.

Duties: Define lesson objectives and materials; provide clear guidelines on studio requirements and regulations; teach lessons as scheduled; administer and evaluate student progress through assigned repertoire and exercises; ensure that the Jazz Area and Performance Division requirements are met in regard to culminating juries and recitals; prepare and submit final grade and comments in accordance with policy and scheduled deadlines; maintain reasonable hours of student consultation outside scheduled class hours.
