Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Strong fundamentals in statistics, optimization and ML theory; familiarity with deep learning architectures (transformers, CNNs, autoencoders).
• Specialism or strong interest in NLP.
• Broad knowledge of MLOps tooling for reproducibility, observability and versioning.
• Experience maintaining and improving models over time.
• Extensive PyTorch experience and Python libraries (pandas, etc.).
• Experience containerising apps/models (Docker).
• Experience with one major public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data science capabilities across multiple business use cases.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and deploy ML services integrated with strategic systems.
• Research and analyze data sets using advanced ML techniques.
• Communicate AI capabilities and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Document approaches and processes to comply with industry regulation.
• Collaborate with cloud and SRE teams on production architectures.
• Act as an individual contributor with potential for management responsibilities based on experience.
