JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Applied AI/ML Lead – Vice President to drive cutting-edge AI techniques across financial services.

You will lead ML engineering efforts, design scalable machine learning services, and advance research in NLP and computer vision while leveraging the company’s data assets to automate and optimize business decisions. The role blends scientific research with software engineering, offering opportunities to impact production systems and guide architectural decisions

Qualifications

Hands-on experience in an ML engineering role.
Masters degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline (CS, Mathematics, Statistics).
Track record of developing and deploying business-critical ML models.
Broad knowledge of MLOps tooling for versioning, reproducibility, and observability.
Specialism in NLP or Computer Vision.
Experience with PyTorch, NumPy, and Pandas.
Experience implementing distributed/multi-threaded/scalable apps (Ray, Horovod, DeepSpeed).
Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

Build robust Data Science capabilities scalable across business use cases.
Collaborate with software engineers to deploy ML services integrated with strategic systems.
Research and analyze datasets using statistical and ML techniques.
Communicate AI capabilities and results to diverse audiences.
Document approaches and processes to comply with regulations.
Collaborate with cloud and SRE teams on production architectures.
