Job summary

University of East Anglia (UEA) invites applications for a part-time Research Fellow in Applied Health Research (RA2414) in the School of Health Sciences. The post is 0.6 FTE on a fixed-term basis for 3 years, with a starting pro rata salary of £48,822 and progression up to £56,535 per annum.

The role focuses on supporting international PhD students, shaping their academic and personal development, and leading doctoral training initiatives in applied health research.

Qualifications

• Experience leading doctoral training initiatives.
• Supervising or mentoring PhD students.
• Background in applied health research across allied fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead on initiating and facilitating support for a cohort of international PhD students.
• Contribute to doctoral training initiatives with the Dean and Directors.
• Assist in preparation of research bids and papers where appropriate.
