Job summary

ABS Group is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Applied AI Practice Team in the United Kingdom. In this full-time role, you will design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that move from research to production at scale.

You will work on multi-agent architectures, RAG pipelines, and fine-tuned LLMs to deliver measurable business impact while improving evaluation, testing, and deployment practices across web and backend platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years software development, with 3+ years building production-grade AI systems.
• Proven track record delivering AI agents, RAG pipelines, or fine-tuned models with measurable impact.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks and truth sets for AI QA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AI systems, including multi-agent workflows and RAG pipelines.
• Engineer full-stack solutions: web and backend applications with AI integration.
• Develop rigorous evaluation pipelines and real-time monitoring for AI models.
• Prototype production-grade systems from research concepts with rapid iteration.
• Contribute to internal standards for applied AI development and deployment at scale.
