Anthropic is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to join Beneficial Deployments, Life Sciences. You will help deploy the Model Hardware Standard (MHS) to labs doing critical research, automating experiments end-to-end with Claude and scaling insights back into the standard.

You’ll shape product and research directions from field experience, develop features on MHS, and create reusable assets and cookbooks for labs, while traveling across labs in EMEA to build trust and collaboration.

• Strong engineering skills; prototype to production code.
• Instinct for how experiments work, automation, and safety in the physical world.
• Experience working directly with external customers or partners in a technical role.
• Clear written and verbal communication: create docs for labs and give talks.
• Scrappy mentality: wear multiple hats and drive clarity in ambiguity.

Aufgaben

• Automate experiments end-to-end with Claude, from advisory to production code.
• Drive product, engineering and research direction based on field experience (e.g., building evals).
• Scale impact to labs via reusable cookbooks, documentation, and assets.
• Be an EMEA ambassador for Claude in the lab, building trust with researchers.
• This role will require significant travel.
