Job summary

Friend MTS is building AI that protects valuable media rights for broadcasters, sports organisations and streaming platforms. As an Applied AI Data Scientist in a hybrid London/Manchester setup, you will work across streaming, network and behavioural data to detect piracy and uncover insights.

You’ll collaborate with software engineers, intelligence analysts and product managers to deploy production systems and deliver real-time intelligence to customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ML to real-world problems in media or cyber security.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable product features.
• Strong Python and data engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale data systems.

Responsibilities

• Explore and understand complex streaming, network and behavioural data.
• Design, train and deploy ML models in production.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams and analysts.
• Build AI-powered applications and automate investigations with AI agents.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code and review peers.
