This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of the onboarding and support of the next generation of Custody applications and technology as Citi transforms its operating environment to meet growing business demands. You will work as part of the Production Management team along with our development and infrastructure as they deliver resilient, future ready platforms using modern cloud based technology along with SRE tools to integrate with elements of the evolving existing platforms.

You will develop as a subject matter expert supporting the applications and flows in the production environments as our Custody product offering expands to support digital and tokenised assets alongside the existing securities workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implement solutions.
  • Coordinate with Development teams to onboard new applications, establish processes for support, and prioritization of Stability Book of work.
  • Provide expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support.
  • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; document requirements.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document systems impacts and support requirements.
  • Identify risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicate impact; propose risk mitigation options.
Qualifications
  • At least 6 years' relevant experience
  • Experience in leading a Production Support unit in a capital market/institutional banking business.
  • Proficiency with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices with experience of automation to improve the support of production environments.
  • Strong Database skills such as Oracle or MSSQL, preferably Oracle.
  • Extensive experience in working with both distributed cloud platforms (e.g., Openshift).
  • Exposure to JIRA.
  • Experience in Incident and Problem Management, and DR/resiliency activities.
  • Experience in onboarding new applications and establish support framework.
  • Practical problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills and relationship building skills.
  • Experience working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one time.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Education
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • ITIL certified
