Applications Support Senior Group Manager - Director

This role is the EMEA head of Production Services for Citi’s Treasury and Trade Services (TTS) Payment Technology. Responsibilities include:

  • Senior stakeholder management with cluster heads, payments product EXCO, and technology & ops heads
  • Production management across 50 countries in EMEA, overseeing 350 applications, multiple branches, Critical Business Services, and FMI & Clearing systems
  • Managing the complex Payments Regulatory Environment for UK and CEP entities, including PSD and DORA reporting
  • Providing director-level senior coverage for EMEA, overlapping with NAM and Asia for global follow-the-sun management
  • Leading EMEA rollouts of modernized strategic payment platforms
  • Driving stability and resiliency in payment flows across EMEA

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Applying in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures to resolve issues beyond own area
  • Establishing strategic plans for the function
  • Understanding how the support function integrates within the organization to meet business objectives
  • Evaluating team performance and making personnel decisions
  • Negotiating with senior leaders and external parties
  • Managing teams, budgets, performance, and development plans
  • Leading disaster recovery planning
  • Facilitating staff forums and promoting global collaboration
  • Defining and implementing standard methodologies and ensuring compliance
  • Building relationships with infrastructure and support teams to improve efficiency
  • Setting measurable goals and ensuring staff development
  • Assessing risks and ensuring compliance with laws and policies

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in application support, business, and people management
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Detail-oriented with analytical skills
  • Proven organizational improvement record
  • Experience managing distributed teams and managers
  • Strong communication skills at senior levels
  • Educational background with a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred, and managerial experience
